Volkswagen Financial Services (VW FS) will remain the exclusive partner of Eintracht Braunschweig over the next two seasons and will increase their sponsorship of the club in the wake of its promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, the second division of professional football in Germany. This means that the partnership, which has existed now for more than 20 years, will also continue in future.

Volkswagen Financial Services and Eintracht Braunschweig will be placing a special focus on sustainability and forward-looking action in their partnership. As a visible sign of this priority, electric vehicles such as the Volkswagen ID.3 and ID.4 will once again be handed over for use in Eintracht's fleet. The partner here is Volkswagen Financial Services | Rent-a-Car, a brand of the rental specialist and VW FS subsidiary EURO-Leasing. In the future, Volkswagen AG's financial and mobility services provider will be particularly advertising and promoting the merits of its new financing offers for bicycles and its popular VW FS car subscription service in the sphere of the club's footballers on and off the field.

Professional sport makes a significant contribution to the city's attractiveness. Many of our employees have been Eintracht fans with heart and soul for years. In the time ahead, we want to work with the club to highlight our transformation from vehicle financing company to mobility provider – with offerings for bicycle financing, with new types of leasing products, or with our attractive car subscription."

New to the portfolio of Volkswagen Financial Services are financing and leasing options for e-bikes. At the beginning of October, the exclusive partner of the Lions (as the football team is nicknamed) will be raffling off an e-bike among all the stadium visitors to Eintracht's home match against FC St. Pauli as part of a "Sponsor of the day" event.
